Okay I'm not even sure if this is right here, its probably not, but I don't know where else to ask and kinda need to know:

Did the arachnid bombing of buenos aires happen BEFORE or AFTER the second pluto campaign?

I ask this cause the UCF book for the rpg states it happened before, the arachnid empire book states it happened after...

IIRC it's before in the TV series.

I'm going with after. Basically Pluto was intended to be a beachhead into our solar system, and when they couldn't establish it they resorted to long-range bombardment

there's two pluto campaigns though - the MI thought they wiped out the bugs and they showed up again. The Roughnecks episodes on Pluto are set during the second campaign.

After. In the novel they are on a different campaign, post Pluto 2, and get news of the asteroid hit. The asteroid was a retaliatory attack to prove the Arachnids might have lost their forward operating base, but they weren't done yet.

Does the novel even mention the Pluto campaign? Also, you have to work out what exactly from each source is actually in MGP canon.
