Time line for FFW?

Is there a detailed timeline for this somewhere? I mean all in one place? I understand that as in all things traveller, there are a couple veriations. I dont want to buy and disect a dozen suplements, or however many it is scattered across. I just want to look at useing it as a backdrop in my current game. Any sites ou there with this done?

DonM's Integrated Timeline should have it, otherwise FFW the game (FFE sells a reprint) will have the original material.

Damned if I know. I dont even recalll seeing a discusion of the first. Or even much about the fourth either.

And much anger over the fifth. Enough that I cant sort out what went on, when I just want a little backdrop.

For what it's worth Spinward Marches Campaign (the old classic supplement) lists them as 1FW, 2FW, 3FW, 4FW (and presumably 5FW) when shortened. Or written out whole as "Fifth Frontier War". Probably just to avoid such confusion

And while there is a brief timeline and notes it seems... "inaccurate" in bits.

It is only 1105. The last war I know of is the incredibly short Fourth Frontier War which ended back in 1084.

He didn't time travel, he just read the Imperial Psychohistorical Projections, 1105-1115. Although he probably shouldn't have those, either...

As a side note, how wide is the Zhodani Core Projector view, at the rimward end? Is it wide enough for the right user to foresee the Frontier Wars?

Obviously not or the 4FW wouldn't have happened, the Zho's could have prevented it. Since the 4FW was a stumbling mistake by both sides, any kind of foreknowledge should have been able to stop it.

Also, given the results of the 5FW and even the Empress Wave, they might have foreseen those as well. Since they didn't, we have to assume that they didn't have that much forward seeing ability.

The Timeline (thanks for the plug) should have the details, but the best sources are Spinward Marches Campaign, and the Fifth Frontier War game (which included all the TAS news dispatches).

SMC is definitely the definitive canon source -- even the TAS news dispatches from JTAS can have some problems.
