Thirdspace???

I notice that this book as disappeared from the July and August releases (although it is still listed in the B5 RPG).
I am really looking forward this one so I hope that the delay is only going to be temporary.

I think that if there is a product without a cover picture, it will not appear on the front page, ie the current releases. Once it has a picture, it will probably reappear on the schedule.

Phew! :D
Thanks Matt - I was worried that I might have a long wait before subjecting my players to the horrors of Thirdspace and the "friendly"* aliens who dwell there.

*Well they seemed very eager to to meet Sheridan and Ivanova!

OCTOBER???!!! Oh @/*&*@£#£!!"£!!!

Ahem, sorry about that. I meant: "Oh dear no, it's been put back to October, golly gosh!"

Bang goes my hopes of picking up a copy at the Open Day

On the bright side it will give me something to read in the run up to Christmas

Remember, we have our ownb printing facility now - there might well be copies available on the Open Day. . .

What is the point of a thirdspace book when its an event that took place technically over one little battle. The whole point was that the door was to remain closed of the thirdspace aliens would invade our universe and destroy everything.

But as Lyta said at the end, one mistake, out of so many.....

Ominous, no?

Three points in fact...

1> There may be people who want to run a B5 game that happens to get involved with the station at the time that the 2261 Thirdspace Event occurs. This book gives them the rules crunch to do so.
2> The Thirdspace Aliens are just too neat to leave confined to simply a single movie when we, as RPG publishers, have the ability to make so much more out of them for our readers and fans. This book gives them more history than just being a "Vorlon mistake".
3> Just as the Vorlons and Shadows have agents (willing or not), perhaps these creatures do/did too? This book allows for people to sink their B5 games into a bit of the Lovecraftian horror that JMS intended to show with the movie.

I hope that helps...I know it is one of my favourite works to date.

And you think that we nasty and sadistic GMs are going to let that little fact get in the way of putting some of the worst enemies to ever appear in B5 in our own games???

I can't wait for this book because I assume it will give an added addition to First One history. I mean with books like Darkness and Light, Lurkers Guide to Telepaths and Legends of the Ranger plus this book; the history of the First Ones is pretty much charted.
