i think in the end of the next week i can show an complete ship.

News for the -Lion of the Galaxy- Fans.
The new Lion getting shape, slowly....
i have finished the frame for the center main hull and can now sculpt the details on this part. pics follow.
i must still wait until the puty is complete hardened.
then i can make the first molds for the smaller parts.
and i make the mold for the Crusade Dreadnought, also.
 
Wow, can't wait to see some more pics. I don't play Centauri but if the finished model is half as good as the draft images you may just change my mind... :)

Always better to see it in 3D. Adira on a diet or steroids? It will be interesting to see it in metal and assembled. I for one, can never have enough ships, especially big, shiny ones ;)

i think the entire ship contains 14 - 15 parts.
it is better when i cast every part to resolve casting errors.
i like more qualitat.... :wink:
ok...you must assemble some more parts but i add pins and connectors on all parts, so can every part easy fit to an other.
 
You just might make it as a new centauri god you know :)
Don't know how many gods they have tho, but quite a lot :D

If you ever get to sell those babies, i'm gonna have to order one !
 
could you possibly stick a primus or something in the next shot of it for scale comparison?

Patience? PATIENCE?!?!! ME WANT SHIP NOW!!!! NOOOOOOOWWWWWW!!!! :P

(and about the scale, looks just right to me :) I never liked the Adira model much it just never seemed quite elegant enough. This is much more what I think of when I think of a Centauri Battle Ship. It looks like the logical evolution from the Octurion :)
