The Ultimate Guide to the World's Most Savage Barbarian

The King

Cosmic Mongoose
May be you know it or may be not. There is a new book on Conan's life and timeline written by none other than Roy Thomas.

Those who already have it are wellcome to present there a brief review.

It's a good coffee-table book. Pretty pictures (mostly Frazetta and Marvel and DarkHorse illustrations)... Complete bio of Conan and a nice gazetteer of the world but each entry only gets a page or two at most so nothing in depth (sometimes just a small caption)... I bought mine from SFBC when it first released and I've browsed through it maybe three times since...

LOL. I forgot to read the release date; I thought it was new.
Anyway it was the first time I heard about it.

I picked the book up when it first came out. It definately has some great art in it. It incorporates a LOT of the old Marvel comic book continuity it in. Since the book is written by Thomas, and he also wrote those old comic stories, that certainly makes sense.

I think it is worth picking up for any die hard Conan fan. I actually got some decent storylines/encounters from it.
