The traders of Gath XII

As you can see from my sig, the pbp 'The Traders of Gath XII' is getting restarted by me.
We had some problems... but more importantly, we need a pilot (and some other crew).
We have an engineer, and two characters for trading and such.
We could do with other characters, maybe two-three new players max.

If I take this up, it's going to be trading, smuggling, and all the adventures including therein.
But of course, making enough every month to pay off the ship is the most important bit...

Please, post if your into this.

Btw, Dez, if you see this and want to pick this up again, just say and I'll hand the reins back.
 
Given that the only roleplaying I'm doing right now is the Merc group on here, I'd be up for it... :)

Well as I say...
We have my character, now a GMPC and deus ex machina, who is a nobleman's granddaughter having a go at interstellar life.
We have a trading man, excellent merchant broker etc etc
And we have an ex Navy engineer named Bubba...

A pilot would be useful. So would anything else you can come up with.
Oh, and we can always use someone who can shoot (not turrets, personal arms)
 
Roll the dice, see where you go.
Ship shares are pointless now. re-roll them if you get them as a benefit.

I'm going to assume you're going with pilot. In that case...

Guys. I'm still recruiting. Marines, security, that sort of thing is cool. Also, loadmasters :P

If I go pilot and someone else has already grabbed it, it won't matter - doubling up on pilots is always a good idea if you can (in case of injury and it doesn't hurt if the copilot is able to fly too). Not to mention we'll likely have different skills so one of us can fit in elsewhere too.
 
Must be the 'busy' time of the year if no one is beating down the door to join up. We could always run 2 PCs each; one for ship operations and one for away missions (trade, investigations, combat).
 
Are you still recruiting for this? I have the Agent book and if ok, I'd like a character from there (using the traders as a front maybe?).

Anyway, I'd like to join :wink:
 
Replied, I'll go with High Guard and do an ex-Navy man, see what exactly they were when the dice roll. Also is it ok to be a Darrian?

We could use a pilot... after all that rolling, I suddenly worry for our safety... the character took a strange turn... :lol:

I think we may be lacking in the Astrogation and Gunnery departments too, right Barnest?

I think it's just a case of roll a character and see where you go... :)
