Just wondering what sort of scale ships people use, especially as I'm trying to balance a good quality miniature and fleet with not spending too much?

I use Panzerschiffe 1:2400 scale.

They are solid one piece resin ships. Not as detailed as GHQ, but I think they work nicely. Also very affordable.

Good to know. I was previously debating the purchase of the GHQ 1/2400 models; about two years ago, however my money and my time have had more important calls on it lately. As such I've been considering the Navwar 1/3000 scale minitures and was just wondering if other people played in similar scales. Also; does anyone here use Navwar miniatures as though I'm looking for low cost I don't want to sacrifice quality?
