OK. So by now everyone has seen how deadly and fast fights can be using the system.
But what about the marathons? How long have some of the longest fights you've seen lasted? I know, fighters with skills in excess of 100% are going to have more marathon matches, but what about the under 100% set?
Recently, I witnessed a battle go almost 6 combat rounds with one combatant (the losing one) receiving a Bleed CM in the first round. By the end of the fifth round- -40 to all rolls (he also ended up impaled by a longsword, which made it even more difficult to make any rolls  ). I thought that was bad, until I saw a Gladiatorial (Monster Coliseum rules) contest last a whopping 12 combat rounds with no blood drawn until the twelfth round, and that one blow was the (almost) death blow. Surreal...tense and fun!
Anybody witnessed fights that had PC's scratching their heads and making athletics rolls, and wishing the opponent would miss just one parry?
Curious...
