The Final Test of King Conan?

The political situation in Aquilonia since the ascendancy of King Conan starts off rather chaotic for the Cimmerian. Many of the Nobles of Aquilonia chaffe under his rule, involving themselves in plot after plot after plot :

Kill Conan with wizardy. Kill Conan with demons. Poison Conan. Discredit Conan. Collude with foreign powers to oust Conan. etc. etc.

However the "Anti-Conanites" are already unpopular with the people, who adore their brutish king like a rockstar. Every single time a plot fails and the public gets wind of it - Conan's popularity pushes upward and his detractors fall further down.

There will come a point in time when ye olde Nobles of Tarantia not in the Conan camp are going to get desperate. The writing is going to be on the wall: Conan is here to stay.

Furthermore, while the barbarian king might not be good at it, those who are adept at court politics will probably be minimizing and targeting them as well.

So - here's a question for you all (and a good campaign seed):

In your opinion, what would be the best last-ditch attempt effort to unseat the Cimmerian from his throne?

In this iteration, unlike the Scarlet Citadel incident, failure cannot be an option for the opposition. They would be betting everything on pushing him out.
