Mongoose
Over at RPG.net I was bitching about my Cthulhutech(and to a lesser degree my Runequest Deluxe....but mostly Cthulhutech) due to them arriving in horrible shape at my FLGS.
Anyways Matt PMed me and sent me replacements for both. I'd like to state that both are in great condition. In fact until I saw the new Runequest book I didn't realize in how bad of shape my copy was in. The replacement copy is literally perfect. No warping. No text riding against the binding. No bubbles. I can open the book comfortably and read everything and not worry about damaging the spine.
If future products match the mechanical aspects of my replacement Runequest book(well plus better editing, I see major improvement over the days of my first Mongoose books such as ACTA 1st Edition and the Babylon 5 1st Edition RPG although not quite up to the standard I feel a company as large as Mongoose needs to be, so I hope the quality there keeps improving as well) and the sheer greatness of the game design for Cthulhutech I have high hopes for future Mongoose products.
While I still wish they had been this way in the first run rather than Mongoose having to replace them, I can say that dealing with Mongoose where problems are concerned has always been among the best of any company I know.
So thank you Mongoose in general and thank you Matt in specific.
