Thaaaaaaaaaaaaaaanks !!!!!!

I know i'm not the first one to do a thread like this but I really felt the need of thanking Mongoose!
The binding of my copy of Conan 2e started to fall about 30 days after it arrived here...so I complained by mail and today I received (FOR FREE!!!) a new copy.
I even kept my old copy!
Mongoose, your customer service is great!
I noticed that even this copy still has some un-corrected errata (e.g. the Bardiche damage) but I really do not care about, I'm still veeeeeeeeeeeeery satisfied.
The binding looks better in this new copy.
I'm not sure but the whole thing looks thicker...the number of pages is just the same but my new copy really looks thicker than my old one.
The quality of such a service and the general quality of Conan products really makes me a more than happy customer!
If I can I will certainly keep on buying Conan books.

That is really good customer service. Unfortunately for some, it looks like others are going to pay for that service with a higher price on Conan 2e. $50 American - 25L (how do you make that symbol?) Remember, nothings free mate.

I think you are wrong.
as far as I know £25 =50$
Please check
http://finance.yahoo.com/currency?u or alternatively http://www.eurocambi.com/
You will find that today 25 British pounds = 51.6602 US dollars
If you buy your book today you will save 1.6602$ more than us European!!! (we should complain...)

I was just quoting both prices, sherlock. The book used to be $39.99 American. But thanks for the links. If I had a "don't assume others are wrong but actually read the post" link I would leave it for you. :D

Woo Hoo for a strong Canadian dollar. For once. I just picked up the 2e from my FLG/CS for a song at $36 CDN. That's $38 USD or £18.35.

I'm sorry Strom, I'm not a native English speaker.
Since you did not mention the $39.99 in your first post I thought you were complaining about the differences between £ and $ prices.
I guess that I should give you a "please be more specific when you speak" link...but at the end it's just my fault if this is not my mothertongue.

I'm just poking ya in the ribs LucaCherstich - that's what the smiley face is suppose to communicate. I agree the customer service by Mongoose deserves some public praising.

no problem, I agree about the cost of books. but the customer service is wonderful (in other words, even if one of teh books I have is damaged I not have 2 copies but I paid just one of them...and this is certainly great).
