Targeting??

Ok...I know people will roll their eyes..but I've played 2 games and read the rules a thousand times...BUT...what do you use as the target when targeting the miniatures...is it the figure or the stem? I could have sworn I saw that it was the stem of the base, but now I can't find it in the rules. And if it is the stem how the heck do you get a boresight aimed correctly, premeasure/align? Thanks...and please don't flame the new guy :D

It´s the stem whcih represents the actual position of the ship, so any targeting and measurement ist taken from there.

No flaming in sight, welcome to the madness! :D

You can premesure in B5 ACTA as much as you like its in the rules. For boresights align as close as you can and tell your opponent you are boresiting that ship

aha...thats right...I remember seeing you can premeasure...thanks. So when you have fighters in base contact, are they in contact w/ the stem or the circular base? Thanks again for bearing w/ my simple questions!!!

Hi welcome to the game and forum :D
You place fighters against the stem and on the enemy ship base if its advantagous to do so!
Sometimes by doing so u can get more fighter bases in weapons range by doing so.
Allowing attacking fighters bases to move onto an enemy ship base was introduced in the last supplement, Armagedon. :)
