The planet dropped from a TL of 8 to a TL of 5 in the new CRB. Is that a typo or deliberate. If the population lives in a dome environment, I don’t see them being alive with a tech base of 5. At 8 it’s more realistic, but 5 means they would have to import tech from offplanet, and if they are constantly being targeted by raiders, then that makes no sense. The raiders would steal or bomb the domes (based on the bloodthirsty explanation) if there was enough wealth there to pay for offplanet technology.
Also, since these domes are beyond the tech of the planet, they would have had to be built by the Sindalians, which means they are VERY high tech to have stayed in working condition for this long – especially being in a planetary environment. How does this world survive when they have to live and grow their food in domes they can’t support (not to mention the hundreds of millions of them…). Environmental suits start at TL8 – beyond the now tech of the planet. The patron is ok, but I’d drop microwaves and either stick with food synthesizer equipment (quite valuable there), or maybe change the microwaves to being spares for equipment the people in the dome would do MUCH to get their hands on (hydroponics, spanners to fix old generators, etc).
