The Games Shop in Aldershot (http://www.the-games-shop-aldershot.co.uk/) is now holding games of 2e ACTA every other Sunday. I went yesterday and managed to get a game in against Tank's Brakiri with my Narn.

1 T'Loth
1 Dag'Kar
1 Var'Nic
2 Thentus
1 Sho'Kar
2 Sho'Kov
1 Gorith Wing

Turn 1

The Brakiri moved forwards in a wave, launching fighters that seemed as numerous as the stars that they eclipsed. The mighty T'Loth led the Narn forces forward, while the Sho'Kov torpedo boats flanked the Brakiri on their right. Firing was inconclusive, with the majority of the ships out of range, the only solid hits were caused by a volley of Ion Torpedos from the Var'Nic and Dag'Kar, which did little more than scratch the hull of the massive assault craft.

Turns 2-3

The Brakiri continued advancing towards the Narn Fleet, fighters massed behind them, weary of straying within the range of the Dag'Kar's Energy Mine launcher. With all of it's fighters launched, the Brokados diverted all of it's power to it's engines to join the Kabrokta. The Sho'Kovs encircled the Brakiri fleet, and began to move into torpedo range upon the Kabrokta.

The remainder of the Narn fleet flew into weapons range, managing to avoid the boresight of the Kabrokta with some careful maneuvering. The Var'Nic and Dag'Kar once again targeted the Kabrokta, lasers, Ion Torpedos and heavy pulse cannon taking a toll upon the Assault ship's armour without disabling the resilliant craft's ability to fight. The T'Loth took a critical that destroyed it's port pulse cannon batterys, while it's heavy plasma cannon did little in return.

The two Thentus' swung around towards the Brokados, and opened up with their main laser cannon, but the carrier's armour was tough enough to take the pounding without severe damage. The return fire from the Brokados and Brikorta was mostly ineffectual, pattering against the armour of the Thentus' like gentle rain ;).

The fighters swarmed over the Sho'Kovs and Sho'Kar, damaging them heavily, but not removing the threat from the Brakiri flank and rear.

Turn 4-5

The Brakiri fighters cut apart the Sho'Kovs and Sho'Kar with withering blasts from their miniature graviton beams, leaving floating hulks drifting slowly through space.

Finally, the decisive moment arrived, and the Narn fleet concentrated the full fury of their weapons upon the Brakiri. Firstly, the Var'Nic fired upon the Kabrokta with it's main lasers, carving through the bigger ship's armour like a hot knife through butter, before triggering massive internal expolsions that left the craft drifting through space before exploding spectacularly.

The Brakiri fire from the Brokados was ineffective, while the Thentus that had ircled around behind the carrier fired it's main beam upon the Brokados, again sending massive secondary explosions through the ship's hull that were severe enough to rip it apart after a short while.

At this point, the Brakiri began a swift stratigic retreat, leaving the day to the Narn Fleet.

Is there any more info about these ACTA sundays at the Game Store... I used to attend a few events there back in the day...

[edit - just saw the web address in your post...]

@Court Jester

We're trying to encourage more B5 at the Games shop, time is gonna be 12:00 - 17:00 hrs every other sun, we get enough regular players and it may be worth starting a campaign or league.
