Since you consider comic books to be high literature I can easily discount your jibe. ;)

Well there is a graphic novel adaptation of Mort.

LBH

LOL. LBH. I am satisfied with my Judge Dredd and Asterix graphics. Currently I am working through the Army Builder authoring manual, the Manchester biography of Winston Churchill and some tech manuals at my new job. My brain is about at its capacity at the moment. Thank God for painting. It's so cathartic.

Terry Pratchett is great. Awesome comedy-fantasy. Like Xanth but without the repetitiveness...

In any case, if you don't read Harrington, you don't read anything worthwhile. We're Sci-Fi fans, remember?
(Orson Scott Card and Bradbury readers are excused from the Weber requirement)

Don't be. It's their right to be offended, but it is equally Your right to offend by saying it.
If they can't take it, they shouldn't say it. So screw 'em.

And if They don't have the right to offend via speech in all its many and glorious forms, then maybe they should Get that Right. it's what we did 200+ years ago, after all...
