Still NO Minis (Matt Sprange please read)

just phoned them again looking for my order, have now been promised that orders will be done by the end of june.
Mind you, I was promised 3 weeks ago that I would get some of my order 2 weeks ago !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Going on 4 months now!

Same here Sneaky Chris.

If it keeps getting put back for delivery I can see people asking for their money to be refunded.

well i got my rest of order today.. so better late than never..and well.. yeah it is a long wait but did you see how mutch was ordered?

better than me at least, I was told the other day my 300+ order had arrived I go to find out that the only thing that came was my Psi Corps patrol level ships lol.

But hay I have enough to do at the moment without cleanin up aload of model molding lines.

Hi guys,

More stuff going out this week - after this batch has gone (and there is a _lot_), we only have one more batch to go (already cast up, just waiting for shipping), and then we are tackling all the the spares ordered. Seriously, the end is in sight!

That's actually a disheartening comment :( As it means that the production of Babylon 5 miniatures will be officially over at that point. Wish Revel Monogram or some other company would take up making scale Babylon 5 models, the only kits out there are resin ones that are like super expensive.

Babylon 5 has some AMAZING ship designs, a decent model run would probably ignite new interest in the show.

Yeah. Some irony.. You get what you want, but it's kinda like a last meal. :(

Maybe (we certainly achieved that with the RPG in B5's 'wilderness' years, to some degree at least). However, there is no support from the PTBs for such an idea. There are bigger fish to fry in the film and TV worlds at the moment.

I've yet to be impressed with whats been show in sci-fi in the last few years, least anything that had starships cool enough to put to scale model. Even the few ships Babylon 5 showed on screen were far more impressive, design wise, than 95% of what has come out in the last decade.

Good: Today I received an order which I placed on the last day of the sale :)

Bad: When I opened the box, a large chunk of the order was missing :(

I've e-mailed Matt to let him know.

I'd like a proper range of Battlestar (new era) and Stargate ships...............but yes B5 did make some very sexy designs.............and one of the better things about Lost Tales were the new ships - v nice :)

OK so today I recived some of my order, none of the feet boxes or any boxes, just individual ships.......2 questions

1. Who do I speak to about mold problems (1 whitestar has a whole in it on the top from an air bubble, 1 has its wing bent so bad that if I bend it back im afraid it will snap, and my 2 drazzi sunhawks have there weapons snapped off)

2. My rule book is the hardback one, its falling appart and the pages are just funky, is there somewhere I can go to get a replacement?

Cheers folks

although the new fleet book is IIRC in B/W which may not be what you would want - although I think it is cheaper - £15 vs £20?

I'm happy with soft covers - less so with b/w given the present problems there seems to be with reproducing colour pics in balck and white........

I'd try to bend it back, every so slowly. After all, what can it hurt? If it's bent as bad as you indicate, it's really not usable. If it breaks then you can add it to your list of bad casts when you email sales@mongoosepublishing.com and let them know your problem (fair warning it may take a couple emails before they respond). Matthew said they will keep one forge open for a while to cast up miscast, broken, or missing parts. I'm sure this will only be the case for a month or so after the final stuff is shipped out the door.
