Very sad to hear that Steve Perrin has died. He heralded a whole new direction for RPGs with his first edition of RuneQuest, the direct legacy of which we still have at out gaming tables in the form of Legend and Mythras, not to mention the countless spin-offs inspired by his brilliant adaption of D&D's percentile thieves' skills.
He will be missed.
