Stellar Reaches: Issue #9 Now Available...

Good Evening, All:

Issue #9 of Stellar Reaches, a Fair Use Fanzine for Traveller, has been released:
http://stellarreaches.nwgamers.org/?attachment_id=73

In 62 pages, it contains four action-packed adventures and an article on the beginnings of a D20 Modern to Traveller conversion. The adventures, in my own opinion, are quite impressive, and should add many sessions of great roleplaying and excitement to your gaming table. (I wrote the article, so anything I say about it would obviously be biased. ;) )

Now, enough with the announcements. Go ahead, download it and enjoy!

Jason "Flynn" Kemp

I mentioned this on the SFRPG board, but I can't download anything from the link you posted - the link just cycles back to the post you made on your site and not to a PDF link. Same thing happens on Firefox 3.0, IE8 (and Safari apparently).

I confirm what EDG reports, and note further that clicking on ANY link results in the same behavior.

Had the same result myself. The URL in the address bar changes but it remains on the same page.

Yea, you can't navigate that site. It's completely broken. Which is too bad, because I'd love to download those fanzines.

Seems to be a problem with the site, because the same thing happens on Explorer, Firefox, Safari and Chrome. You can't even go to the comments pages.

Ok, just to add some unrepresented ones. Just tried it in Opera and Seamonkey same problem.

That sucks. I'm so sorry. I'll dig into it and see what I can find out. I'll post back here once I hear something.

My apologies,
Flynn

If someone can recommend a site that I can use to host Issue #9, I can at least offer an interim solution in the meantime. Your suggestions would be appreciated.

Flynn

As a temporary measure, I've posted the file to the forums over at the Stellar Reaches discussion board on the SFRPG forums. Here's a link to the thread:

Please Enjoy,

Flynn,

Looking at the source - looks like the links have been replaced with an internal reference that isn't 'linked' up. So September 2009 link '.../?m=200909' should be '.../2009/09/'.

Sounds like a setting for WordPress related to the 'permalinks' (.htaccess) - something that could have been broken during an 'upgrade'...

Info in this link http://www.wordpressmax.com/customize-wordpress/permalink-settings might help. Make sure you have a backup first.

(P.S. old issues are still available at http://stellarreaches.nwgamers.org/issues)

Hope this helps...

And if anyone wants to discuss this or any other issue of Stellar Reaches, there's a forum dedicated to it on the SFRPG boards:
