Steampunk Mars from Adamant

Just scored this game both in hardback and PDF form from Adamant Entertainment Games. Uses the Steampunk setting and is compatible with OGL characters. You only need to incorporate the Conan style Dodge or Parry dv, it already uses armor with a DR score. Sad to say goodbye to Gurps but I wasnt going to convert to the new edition anyway. With both these books a great Steampunk-Mars setting backed by a dedicated D20 system, not another D&D hybrid. Not that there arent any great works out there but like the A+++ Conan , specific rules for me are prefered when avaliable. Check it out!

The new GURPS (is it still "new"?) is quite good. "Martial Arts" will be out soon, and will really make GURPS 4e combat interesting.

Sad to say goodbye to Gurps but I wasnt going to convert to the new edition anyway.

Guess I did imply it wasnt a great game system by that post. My aplogies as that wasnt what I meant- GURPS is a great system, enjoyed it for years (GURPS Conan) and several friends have converted and are running a Supers campaign. Im just a rabid Conan/John Carter fan and GURPS didnt come out with a dedicated line- guess thats what "Generic" means. And In my opinion the Transhuman Space line is simply amazing! I would re-purchase that whole line if they re-issue it! Enjoy it, and being a grumpy old man- I consider anything under 10 years old as new
