Status of ST?

Gang,
Haven't been around for a while, been indulging in other games.

What's the status of ST these days? I read a bunch of emails and tried to search for a statement by MP, but can't seem to find anything. Meanwhile, the already-published models seem to still be available.

What happened to the Forth? Plastic models? New ST rules? What about the old rules, rulebooks and army books? The MI program?

Seriously considering just playing the original game - bought into it when it first came out, still a great game.

The MI Program seems to be the strongest in Europe. The MI in N. America are in a state of flux, mostly we sit idle or get roasted for MGP stuff.

SST is on hold, with new rules coming out last. Based off the BF:Ev system (sorry, I refuse to say that BF:Ev is based off SST). The new rules will be accompanied by pre-painted miniatures. The current figures will still be produced, but anything new will be pre-painted only.

But you can download the first wave cards in S&P (But theyre unreadable so its probably better to find the transcription of them in a post by Xorrandor...) and download the BF:E rules PDF if you want a taster.

Theres been alot of changes to the way the game is played so its kinda worth a look to see which you prefer

Privateer Press and Rakham delivers a much better support to their Demo Teams.
Actually I feel a bit lost and left alone, though I will continue doing my part (ATM I'm recruting my own co-supporters - if just this damn Basic Box I've ordered would arrive).
