When will this years SOtM be up? I am eager to hear mongooses thoughts on this year, especially the D&D4e extravaganza and what the mongeese think of it!

I am aware there is a podcast by the same name, but dunno if its the same thing as the yearly ritual. I hope not, as I want the written format.

I hope there is some mention of the mythical Lone Wolf multiplayer gamebook which was prophesised to come out sometime this millenium!

Its all about timing. He knows that us Americans will be busy with Thanksgiving this week followed by Black Friday. Then there's the travel/frantickly cleaning that happens the day before. So obviously the SotM must detail something bad for use Americans.

The State of the Mongoose is in the 'news cycle' (as it were), may get bumped a day or so for new releases. However, consider it imminent.
