Starline 2500 Gorn BDD with scales

Must be the only person that doesn't get the 'jazzed up' Gorn, but then i've always seen them as a no frills/no nonsense fleet.

Do look ok though :?

I was fine with the slightly jazzed up ones that were in the rulebook. I have to say that the new war designs are growing on me.

I think that Matthew is trying to make the minis look snazzier so that more new people will be interested in playing. If the minis look like the old Starline 2400 minis that ADB sells (ie, rather plain) then some folk will say no thanks the minis are ugly.

The raised scales thing just doesn't seem right to me.

A scale pattern across the whole hull or raised structures that could be technical.

These with what look like giant flower petals stuck on top, not my idea of Gorn.

We are big bipedal saurians, meat eaters, our ships are menacing platforms of plasma death (and limited turning). Sticking a few waving (and not even scale shaped) lumps on the hulls. Its not right
