SST RPG

I have been hearing conflicting stories about SST RPG. Could some one set the record striaght?

Regarding what? How good it is? I rocks. Not just as SST but as a base for Aliens, Traveller or whatever. Just as Conan is an improvement over basic 3.5 D&D, SST is much better than d20 Future and neater and cleaner than T20.

Or it's future? It is no longer supported as a d20 game. However Mongoose are remaking SST using their new Traveller ruleset, just as they remade Slaine in Runequest.

Great. That's made me feel a lot better about all the money I've spent on ALL the books. I haven't been on here for about a year and, to be honest, I'm extremely pissed that Mongoose have deleted all trace of the RPG from the forums AND the catalogue, especially after promising The Fleet and Skinny books. Thanks for that Mongoose - Top work.

If someone can point me in the direction of where any/all the threads have been archived I'll probably cheer up a little bit.
