SST proxies

The basics seem plentiful out there:
MI
Warriors
Apes/ Chicken hawk
Tanker
Hoppers
Brains

The others though are not and can be held for higher than normal pricing (Saw a crazy $80 ebay auction for a Mantis).

Has anyone had good luck finding/using good proxies for stuff like:
Cougars, Bigfoots, Chas, etc

I'm fairly new to all the mini MFR's out there so any help would be appreciated. I did stumble on GZG's Power Armor as a proxy for Exos but I cant really tell if the would be good enough (the pics weren't all that great)...
