Spring Cleaning with Babylon 5

Maybe if they sell the items on E-bay for enough money, they will crank up the mini production again! just kidding. I would love to have the Brivoiki, but it looks to be going out of my range. Guess I will have to scratch build it

I plan on playing for a long time. Campaign books!

I was hoping that the Neroon would get released. Does this mean that it won't, ever?

Dark Angel

Well...

Um...

With Mongoose cancelling ALL miniature production I'd say that pretty much gives you your answer.

Hey any chance that whoever winns the neroon could e-mail me some pics from differnt angles.... like from the top... and the sides....

I was referring to Mongoose saying that they would resume production in 2009.

Dark Angel

Well... lets wait and see wit that one. If they are going to resume prodution in a years time I'd rather it was with the basic range not the ungly old Armageddon ships...

Nah. I've enough experience on eBay to know not to bid early. Wait till the last couple hours and see how high it's gotten then I'll decide. I've lost too many auctions to snipers to bother nowadays. Word to the wise: if you *truly* want it or the Neroon, be online and ready to bid 2 minutes before ending, and then keep watch up until the absolute last second. I know some people don't like it, but that's just a by-product of how the eBay limited time auctions work and you just have to deal with it. Still doesn't guarantee you'll win, but you will have a lot better shot than otherwise.

Was talking with some friends today. 10-to-1 if it comes back it will do so as pre-painted ships like the rest of the lines. That seems to be the only consistant thing Mongoose has said over the last few years, that they want to go to pre-paints (even though I think the idea is stupid personally). I don't believe a word of anything else, but that would be my best guess, assuming they don't kill off all support for it before then.

Yeah My thought was to drive it HIGH early and let us really serious Bidders go after it 30 seconds to post time

It does have the advantage of eliminating those not willing to pay an arm and a leg for them to be sure. Besides, this way even *I* get to decide if I want to pay that much for a single model ;-).

You guys do realize you're bidding in UK pounds right - not Egyptian pounds!!

I lived there for 11.5 years so I know *exactly* how much it is costing them. All I know is I wouldn't pay that much... ;-)
