MGT: The Spinward Marches, p. 106. for canon up to date source was my reference.

I think that this might be my third MGT purchase of the upcoming ones (#1 is Zhodani while #2 is Darrians).

Mssr Rowe,

My deadtree copy of the Marches sits by my computer when I write; I have pdf copy of Darrians on the harddrive. Definitely needed these for writing over-the border relationships between powers in Foreven Sector.

As a further reference point for this crucial cross-Sector area, I also purchased MGT: Alien-Aslan/ Trojan Reaches to look into these major Aliens, as well as the Imperial trade links across the upper end of the Sector towards the TL15 stellar polity of the Florian League & the Aslan clans "Behind the Claw" of the Great Rift.

When viewed this cross-roads of stars are Urnian-P/ Foreven; Five-Sisters-M/ Spinward Marches; Menorial-A/ Trojan Reaches; and Marrakesh-D/ The Beyond.

Supportive of what I am writing currently were MGT's Spinward Marches, Aliens: Darrian, and Aliens: Aslan. I am looking forward to the soon-to-be released Aliens: Zhodani.

One of these reasons is to further shed light on the annual Zhodani navy mission of 2-5 Light cruisers seen moving down through the Trojan Reaches for what they claim are diplomatic and trade missions (besides "showing the Flag" which is obvious to any observer). That and of course perhaps some insight on how the Zhodani view the Darrians (yes the smattering of data from Darrians presents the Darrain POV...like the rest of those in Traveller, looking through the Zho prism will be educational).

No kidding. Especially since the Darrian military's "Special Arm" has a few troopies with psionic abilities. That interesting little twist blew my mind when I first discovered it in the CT Darrian supplement.

Mssr SSWarlock,
Yes, and coupled with this twist, as you say, that the Zhodani & Darrians had actually enjoyed a brief 20 year period of trade and technology exchanges before the Darrians discovered the Zho had been trading a hundred years prior with the Swordies...

What fascinates me in this background history is of course that the Zhodani set up and watched the Darrians rise back up from the ashes of the Maghiz, and somehow carefully covered their tracks after having done so for centuries, so that the inadvertent discovery comes from talking at a Swordie Downport--not from the Darrians discovering they'd been spied upon!

8)

A friend of mine showed me his copy of Darrians, and I was asked by someone to review Zhodani; those are why Spinward Marches are #3 instead of 1 or 2 (and why Zhodani, when it comes out, is #1).
