Can you include a Space Station in your starting fleet, that is before adding any reinforcements, when playing in a campaign?

Not trying to sound unappreciative, but that's not an overly helpful answer. Could you at least tell me where it states such? I was under the impression that you couldn't, but I've been unable to find where it states such in the rules.

I think that it is in the campaign rules for generating a fleet list - but am at work so away from books - I know you can buy them as reinforcements (triple cost I think ?) but am fairly sure it says "you may not start with a space station".

If I get a chance I will look it up.

Sorry, but I wrote this when I was shortly on the net at work.

It's stateted in the campaign rules under the section space stations, that you could not have a starbase in your starting fleet.
