Now that I've got 1 space combat session under my belt I've got a pretty good idea of its stregnths and weaknesses. From a player point of view the biggest problem was getting their heads wrapped around all the orders...it was quite cumbersome and some players were totally lost.
The part that was most helpful for players was the order combinations given in the book, here's an example;
Emergency Retreat- 2 orders- Open Jump Point + Pull Back
Strafing Run- 3 Orders- Close for Battle + Concentrate All Fire + Pull Back
Anyways, I was hoping you all could help by creating more of these combinations and give them a good descriptive title. Putting together a nice big list of combinations for both capital and fighter ships will make things so much easier for players and GM.
