So I saw Matt's post on rpg.net recently, and I was wondering if there is any information on this product. Who is the author, what are its contents (all fluff, or some crunch as well?) and estimated release date, if possible?

matt says it is being written now but it is very very rare for him to say who is doing art or the writing till it is a done deal. mongoose have been caught like this before :?

Exactly toothy. I've been caught out on the opposite side of that before as well, where I've put time and effort, heart and soul into a project and it's been dropped at the last minute.

Not in the RPG industry or by Mongoose by the way.

I am actually a very open person when it comes to certain things, but I have worked in the RPG and PC game industry under a lot of NDAs. Some of them allow for a wide variety of discussion, others are so water-tight that so much as mentioning the tiniest thing about the game can get you into more hot water than a tank full of Lobster.

Not my own Silver Fox, but I have seen a fellow game developer almost loose his head (figuratively) over slipping out some tiny hints, these were miniscule.

The Sommerlund Guide is a book that's being written for the Lone Wolf RPG, yes. Matthew made a post on RPGnet about it at some point.

Mongoose have a lot on the boil, but since the book's been written, it's in their paws now. I have been told it's still coming out however - we just have to be patient.
