Omelos & Jashakar conversion
One of the Jashakar is a normal one & the other is a scout (has Sharlin sensor array on wing)

I don't like the Kanktrik model so used a Targath head & Tikrit body. Still not overly happy with it. Wanted Garosch engine but the parts weren't listed so didn't get the bits. I want all my Dilgar to have that Mandible type head or symbol. As a Targath with it to compare

I love it. The added fins make them look a little more menacing. Sometimes the newer Dilgar ships look rather... plain. It adds some much needed detail.

Love the styrofoam asteroids, too. They look better than I would expect.

P.S. I'll have to steal that idea, by the way  .

lol

and nice pics btw...like the modifications...I´m to noobish around miniatures to go try something like that...those are btw my first ever painted/owned miniatures...hehe....well if you don´t count my Thunderbirds(damn, should start playing with em...that green ship really looks like a Dilgar Garasoch!!

have painted some of my new Dilgar. i have finished only this few....the rest have currently LBH paint style....have simply no time because my projects are more important.
need more time....why have an day only 24 hours :D :D :D

and nice conversions on your dilgar, Target. i want to put some more turrets on my unfinished ships, too

Very nice paint job Urobach!

I haven´t played bigger battles then 5 point raid yet so I haven´t been able to play my Mishakur, but it looks nice on stats :D

I´ve been contemplating on getting a Mankhat as a friend for it...indeed they look cool...both your pics and the Mankhat and Mishakur that is =)

I have used a lot of layers of several greens. base colour is black and then grey. Jade green thined, Scurf green stippel with an larger brush, drybrush white, a mix of green and black for the shadows and as finish an very light carmouflage green. have highlighted the edges with the same carmouflage green, again. how sayed...i am very satisfied with the finish and apply this for all of my other dilgar ships.

I have a buddy who did his camo patterns with spray paint.
Black base. Spray on some green. Take some of that white poster putty and put on the model in whatever pattern you want, spray brown. Take off the putty, put more on in a different patter, spray black.

Instant BDU camo pattern.

an paintjob with airbrush or an "decent" spray work looks good, also,...i think. when not better as brush. but i was to lazy to try this. the entire cleaning of the airbrush pistol etc....no...to lazy

No, he, um, uses cheap can spray paint...

Looks really good on his CBT models. I was thinking it might be a good way to do Narn, if you want to go with the canon scheme...
