Soldier Bonus feats - which new feats qualify?

I've noticed that when new material is released introducing new feats it doesn't state what feats qualify as soldier bonus feats.

Feats such as Greater Initiative more than likely qualify (especially since the feat Improved Initiative is already on the list) but I'm not sure if feats like Fencer's Finesse or Master Fencer would. (They do deal with sword fighting but the author already stated that the Aquilonian and Zingaran Fencing skills are class skills for Scholars, not Soldiers)

Any assistance with this subject would be greatly appreciated!

Anyone can buy cross class skills as class skills with skill points granted by high intelligence. Scholars excell as fencers ebcause the sistem grants maneuvers per evry 5 total points you have in the Knowledge (fencing) style, and they can add bonuses from Skill Focus and Knowledgeable feats. With feats like Driven to Win, they very well get to par on attack bonus with the fighting classes. The problem with scholars is their bad defense value which may be offseted by the bonus granted by the fencing Balance rules, and maneuvers like the one that grants Intricate Swordplay. DtW is a great feat for the Noble and Temptress classes which have high willpower base saves.

As for which feats can a soldier take, as you say, if a prereq is allowed as a soldier feat, then I would say the feat is elligible.

Yeah, I guess I can assume that most/all of the newer combat-oriented feats would qualify as bonus feats for the Soldier class.

Also, it does make sense to use the prerequisites as a basis for whether or not a feat would would qualify as well.

Thanks for responding!
