So what else is lined up for Elric?

Kamelion

Mongoose
OK, so the Elric Companion and Magic of the Young Kingdoms books are soon to be released. Yay! And there's the book on Cults of the Young Kingdoms (is that also its title?) which I am guessing is next in line. What else do we Elric-philes have to look forward to? Has anything else been lined up for release next year? I recall reading something that suggested an Elric campaign book might be a possibility - is this still true? And there's also the "rumoured Multiverse book" mentioned in the State of...

Anything else?

:)

Cults and a Campaign are both on the cards. Cults will be first; I don't know when the campaign book will emerge.

There's also articles in the last and current S&Ps - one on some new areas of the YK and an excellent article by Charles Green detailing various NPC templates in the current issue. You can expect more.

Multiverse is also lined-up for sometime during 2008, but again I can't say when, and there'll doubtless be further expansions for both Elric and Hawkmoon.

Its a rosy-looking future.

Cool - the cults book sounds interesting, especially the mention of the sorcerer-adventurers of Quarzhasaat.

Both of those were great. The NPCs will come in very useful, and it was also excellent to see stuff from Potrait in Ivory put in a appearance - a real treat. Hopefully Black Petals will have some equally useable nuggets, whenever it sees print.

What is the Multiverse book going to be about (other than the obvious answer of "the Multiverse"...) Is it going to feature details on the various planes that get visited in the EC books (like the Gypsy Nation, Heavy Sea etc)? Or just crossover rules? Stuff on Moonbeam Roads, Second Ether? Very interested in what approach it will take!

Anything with a Rose in it gets my vote :)

Its a closely guarded secret, known only to members of the League of Temporal Adventurers, Seaton Begg, Sir Oswald Bastable and Ms Una Persson. A high level working party will formulate the actual production plan and risk assess it for the Morphail Effect. Jerry Cornelius will be in charge of enforcing its execution.

Then, and only then, will we be in a position to discuss its content. We'd be risking the safety of the Million Spheres if we were to act sooner...!

:D

Depending on the exact nature of the catastrophe, this could be a good or a bad thing.

Time will tell, I guess...

Hey Loz...what's in the works for Hawkmoon after Castle Brass and Secrets of Tragic Europe (both amazing!). The Hawkmoon line is what got me hooked on the RQ system, now I play Elric, Slain, and Lankhmar as well as my usual D20 Bab5 and Conan...Hawkmoon is however rapidly becoming one of our favorite settings.

Technology of the Tragic Millenium is in the pipeline, plus an article to go into S&P on the Isle of the Insane (one of Granbretan's dumping grounds for dissidents, unmasked and general lunatics).

There will be other Hawkmoon releases. Fear ye not.

Oh, and while I think of it, are there plans to offer pdfs of the Elric line through DrivethruRPG? I bought a pdf of the core rules from there, but haven't seen Bright Shadows on offer yet. I prefer the hardcopy overall, but the pdfs are very useful when putting together adventures, handouts and the like...

I'm preparing a Hawkmoon scenario for S&P, the one I ran at Furnace back in October. I would like to play-test it again, which I plan to do with my Friday night group in the near future, so I can iron out any problems.
