So "Exodus Traveler's Handbook" is the name chosen for WotC D&D-in-space RPG

Arguably, orc was an original term.

Hobbit may have had a too close association with the franchise.

Possibly, merchandizing was involved.

It's an RPG of a forthcoming video game, allegedly the spiritual successor to Mass Effect. There's a lot of tie-in stuff going on, this is just one of many angles.

The TTRG now has a core player's book and a bestiary, I am expecting a referee book to complete the set although the next printed release is an adventure.

The second Peter F Hamilton book is set for release next year.

"Exodus Traveler's Handbook" (with one L) is the title of their Player's Handbook-alike.
Stupid move. I have much experience in international TM and copyright law & training pounded into me by huge international law firms that exclusively deal in this area. Mongoose could sue the crap out of them as its also a TTRPG.
