Ok, here is another smoke question.
Here is the situation: A ship ends its movement with its center point inside a smoke template laid by another ship. The ship is perpendicular to the template so that the entire front and back are sticking out of the other sides (think a cross with smoke going one way and the ship the other). Now All range and LOS are measured from the center point to center point of models. Is this ship now out of LOS of other ships?
The rules imply yes, but it just looked a little silly on the table last night. I of all people understand the need to abstract certain mechanics to keep this simple but I wanted to check on this one just to make sure.
