Slight contradiction - university events

In the university text: Once successful entry has been achieved, the Traveller
will gain any skills noted and roll on the Events table
on page 44.

After the university and academy texts:
EVENTS DURING
PRE-CAREER
EDUCATION
For any term a Traveller spends in pre-career education,
roll on the following table to generate an event. As with
career events, other Travellers may be linked to with the
connections rule – perhaps they even spent time in the
same university or academy!


So the initial blurb tells you to roll on life events, but then they added a pre-career table right afterwards. Just a contradiction in the text. Not sure if this was noticed yet or not.

The way I see it, the Uni sequence should be
1) Roll to see if you get in.
2) Roll for event on the Uni table.
3) Roll to see if you graduate, assuming the event doesn't make you drop out.

In fact, that is the order I'm doing it other wise events 3,4 and 11 don't really have any effect.
