Sleeping in Light CTA Event

Hi guys,

We have been asked to run a last B5: CTA event, and your wish being our command. . .

Have a look at the options above, and choose the one that is the closest to what you fancy doing - we can always make little adjustments after, once we have a general idea of what people want.

After this poll has run a short while, we'll have another one that will allow you to pick dates!

how about having Order vs Chaos for the fate of the galaxy
so

Order: Minbari, ISA, Vorlons,

Chaos: Shadows, Drakh,

Either side : Dilgar, Earth, Centauri, Narn, Raiders and League

Each player chooses a side at the start, no really complicated rules - just see which side wins most battles?

Personally I'd like to see something pretty epic - big fleets and big objectives - I'd even settle for just one big game rather than a myriad of little ones *shrugs*

I prefer fair and balanced games. Therefore a tournament with basic scenarios.

I would like the Bring & Battle as its casual, but a 2 day tourney is okay also, either way I will be attending!

I definately think that with it being 'THE END' of Babylon 5: ACTA we should have an epic weekend with some type of theme: maybe TOTAL WAR! (everyone fights everyone the galaxy is in chaos). There should be some big objectives or battles?

Maybe you could have 2 vs 2 or 3 vs 3 on some games or the last big game??

I agree with many of the sentiments above. If I can make it a two day event would see it off in style although would obviously make it more costly/harder to get to.

Ideal world scenario for me:

1) I can make it!
2) 2 day event (kind of essential if everything is to be fitted in)
3) A number of "fair" battles over the weekend (campaign-based would be good but give most people at least a chance of winning each game)
4) An uber-battle at the end (e.g. every player combines in some way)

The uber battle could be in one of two ways as I see it:

a) Every player takes a side on one huge board!
b) There are a number of battlefields and these are "linked" either by hyperspace or by simply moving to the next table whenever you wish.

I think either way, the final official event needs to go out in grand style!

Also a 2 day event you get more socialising in and meeting others which is important as well.
