Since you're the only one has it. You're the only one who can gossip about it. Can you post the titles for the chapters, if Mongoose allows it?

i'd like to use it for a sort of pre-historic, conan-esque european campaign (based on my knowledge of the MRQ rules and the comic).

think it'll do the job? why or why not? sell me more! (i can probably afford it next mo.)

Have you played it? Have you noticed any typos in the book? Any comments on play?

played the new version at the open day(and got book) and my problem was getting my head around the RQ engine but its still slaine and think hit locations are great and so you are now hacking the left limb foe example and so its more crunchy which are bits my crew are going to love 8) (ie think aimed shots are going to be a great point as heads and limbs go tumbling)

we dont meet summer holidays so have some prep time left 8)

Who cares about a typo? Those happen. I am more interested in the bulk of the work than getting all anal over the odd typo. Sheesh!

D20 Slaine was great for D20. But I think it will be even better for RuneQuest. I have players who wouldn't play Slaine before cause it was D20. Now atleast with Runequest they will. Besides I think RuneQuest is a better game system than D20. And it has Ducks!

Typo. No I don't care about A typo. You're right they do happen, however, Mongoose has a history of poor editing and many typos some that are crucial to the game. And this book has been delayed repeatedly. SO I would like to know if there are any earth shattering typos in the book. Sue me. :lol:

To keep the thread on topic- Has anyone who has ordered it got the book yet(not including those who picked it up at a con)? Has anyone seen it in game shops yet????

And where are those chapter titles?

For those witing for RQ Slaine: On the RQ slaine page it now states the shipping date of Sept. 10th. On another thread Mr. Sprange stated it is waiting it's turn to be printed.

The RQ Slaine web page states that Slaine is "on sale now" so evidently it has shipped ! Hopefully it will be in stores soon.
