I just spent all day reading and re-reading through this section.
Some parts I don't understand some parts I'm just not clear on.
"Warped"
Which requires you to be a "Warped One" of course. It does surprise me alittle that they don't have this automatically. Like wouldn't it be to have chosen this as you racial sub-type and not actualley be "Warped". It's what they are born for really.
I was wondering if it's still possible for thsi racial sub-type who possess's "Warped" can still Warp Spasm with out taking "Improved Warp Spasm and the following "War Spasm Master" ability. I guess it would be silly to think not with the background. But it says with this abilty a Warped One can finally unleash thier power upon their foes.
I guess they would still have a better chance of using "Ancestral Warp". Not that I have read into this, this far.
I just mean you'd must feel like a real lost cause if you had the right background, without recieving the guidance to develop your natural ability.
I thought I'd ask what "Blood of Heros" was about also . I understand that it basically alowing the non Warped to Warpt. Someone who doesn't even possess that racial sub-type.
'Door of Battle'
For a long time, just by reading the name. I thought it meant some sort physical, non-magical manuever that allows that warrrior excecuting this ability to melee their chosen enemey on a croweded battlefield without other foes getting a free or otherwise noraml melee attack. Wether that may be a flank or back attack as well. Basically alows them to move towards their chosen foe unharmed if it's done succesfully.
I was imagining it was like 'Dimesion Door ' spell. Except that it only works when you want to melee with a enemy. Espeically if they are using missle weapon sor casting spells. It's ninja like abilty to close with that foe with any of their missle/spell attacks htting as well as any body else trying to attack you in the intervening space btwetn them and you closing in with them.
It allows you to cover the distance with you foe at surprising speed. Regardles of obstacles in the inteveniong area E.G. Within one combat turn or X amount of combat turns modified by movement rate and your dex modifier.
It's all in the name " Door of battle" I saw this ability as " Door to Battle"

While rereading this. I still had some problems understanding it. Though I have worked out it's a way for a Skyclad warrior to receive twice the normal shield protection whilse using a sheild in battle.
I have that straight!
As I haven't read all the way through yet, I may understand these things more clearly once I complete it.or I may have some more questions.
Please let me know if you find my first interpretation of 'Door of Battle" interesting.
