The Singularity Kickstarter project for Traveller is coming to an end - at 2pm (BST) Saturday 16th. So, if you want to leap onboard, now is the time!

Singularity is a long-running campaign for Traveller, set in the Imperial Core and focussing on the nature of artificial intelligence - its capabilities, the ethics involved and what it should be permitted to do, all on an interstellar scale. Your Travellers will start by working on one of the most luxurious liners in Charted Space, but will end up having to wrestle with the implications of artificial intelligence in a way that will affect trillions of people.

If you are looking to dive into Traveller for the first time, we also have a wide range of add-ons of existing books that will give you a low-cost entry into the game!

Side question: will this be available on Roll20 when the final product goes on sale? I'm starting the game once I get the prerelease version and will be winging it until then. The sooner I can buy the finished product, the happier I'll be.

Side, side note: If @Coryphon gets going on it before release day, I'll happily be one of his guineapigs.

Will the companion book be available for purchase afterwards, or is it campaign exclusive?

We won’t unlock World Destruction and Determinism Engine, it seems. They won’t be stretch goals, but I hope they will be part of the Companion as was mentioned elsewhere there would be a dozen things in there and we didn’t hit them (and there are indeed a dozen stretch goals). I think that’s a dozen.

While it certainly won't be the only place this campaign is talked about, I set up a Farcebook group for folks that want to referee it (or just see the buzz about it). It's called Traveller - Singularity Referees. I won't post the link because that might be against the rules, but it pops right up in a search of the site.

It's only been in existence a day and we only have the preview to chew on and a few people that have found it, but if that strikes anyone's fancy, feel free to drop in. Same to you, @paltrysum (or any of the Mongeese). Feel free to lurk and see what crops up as we really start digging into it in a few weeks.
