Signs & Portents 49: Nothing for Conan

The King

Cosmic Mongoose
As I had expected, Mongoose has now too many game lines to cover them all in their mags.
Luckily Vincent and Thulsa provide us with material. 8)

Ha! Ha! It was a good joke. It was just for those who complain there isn't much Conan material in S&P.

It wasn't a joke on anybody specifically.

I noticed though you are looking negatively at things for the moment (including your latetst comment on the allegued reprint of the 2nd edition material). May be it is only the pressure of having to wait 3/4 of a year to see Conan material again.

I admit it was hard to wait so long (luckily I also play D20 Slaine which has some similarities to the Conan system) and still don't understand why Conan production was entirely stopped for a 2nd edition which doesn't change much.

Perhaps going into it, they didn't know how much it would or wouldn't change? Seems quite likely, so best to pause things while developing the new edition.

Normally in Conan adventures a suggested level range is given (for 4 characters of 4th - 6th lvl for example) but I didn't see one in this adventure. My group is currently 5th level and about to take on the Lurking Terror of Nahab. Afterwards they'll be in Nemedia and going through 3 small adventures that were previously published in S&P. Just want to know if this adventure would be appropriate for 3 characters of 5th to 6th level. Thanks.

Who's being negative?
I just said that D20 sucks, that reprints sucks, that no conan stuff in S&P sucks, that the long wait sucks (and I 'm surely missing some). It's a very positive state of mind, don't you think?
Well, maybe not.
Gosh, life sucks...
