Ships back to Command

Couple of questions:

1. Do fighter flights get replenished when a ship is sent back to command?

2. If so do upgraded fighters get replenished as well? For instance a Poseidon with upgraded firebolts is sent to high command. Do they get Firebolts replenished or do they get Thunderbolts?

3. Do Drakh ships sent to command get their huge hangar ships replenished?

4. Would Drakh be able to use hangar ships but not the actual carrier in a battle? Like fighters can be used seperately from the carrier.

Thanks

Fighters & huge hangar ships are replenished when returned to command, if you paid for upgraded fighters they should replenish as the upgrade. I'm not sure about launching Drakh from carriers into battle.

Well this was rulemastered on in 1st Ed but assuming its all still valid (and I cant see why not...) (ps. this isnt a direct quote or anything its from memory so it COULD be slightly off but Im fairly certain this is correct)

1) Yes they do. If a ship is 'sent home for repairs' its fighter compliment is replenished to full.

2) Hmm this one youd have to double check with the rules monkeys. Id personally say yes though, youve already paid for the upgrade, the ship carries those fighters and when sent home gets full restocked and repaired.

3) Yes they do.

4) No. Carried ships and fighters can't be fielded without their parent ship precicely to STOP people using 'sent home for repairs' to effectively get free fighter wings (or ships in the drakhs case)

Carrier ships may not, but 2E carried fighters can be pulled and formed into full independant wings - though any survivors from those wings go back on the carrier after the battle.
