Ship sizes

I am new to the forum and do not play the game but I am looking for some information regarding ship sizes. I want to use some of the mini's in a different game but am constained by figure size. I am looking for individual ships that are approximately 1 inch in length. Could you fine people tell me what ships are this size. Thanks

Sounds like you're looking for Fleet Action...they were produced by Agents of Gaming (which went belly up) and are kind of hard to find these days...you can look on ebay, but its really hit or miss.

Speaking of FA minis...anyone have FA Vorchans they'd be willing to part with? Or Corvan Scouts?

Thanks

If you go to the Agents of Gaming web site at www.agentsofgaming.com you will find that you can still purchase the majority of the ships. Delivery to the UK takes about 2 weeks. Delivery if you are in the US should be quicker.

Vorchans come in blisters of 3, corvans come in blisters of 2. Both are 9.95 a blister.

I saw that but thought different when I clicked on the "home" tab and it said that they shut down and stopped supplying back in '02...so are they shipping their stuff again?

actually the link you provided is the one that says they closed down...I'm not sure about what their status is. The catalogue page will allow you to place items in your cart, but I was afraid to check out in fear of paying and never seeing the goods.

Nope the owner bought a load of the stock and continues to sell it even though the company went bust.

I and my friends have spent $2000 in the last year with them and all of it has arrived safe and sound.

would you like me to give you his email address so that you can speak to him?

What I need to know is the actual size of the ships, either the ones from Agents of Gaming or the ones from Mongoose. I am planning to use them for a boardgame for a better visual display. For example, how long is a Earth Alliance Hermes Transport? I am looking for ships that are approx. 1 inch or less in length.

Nope. they can be any type of space/star ship. I just need something visual instead of a cardboard counter. I have looked at the Star Wars ships but they come in random packages so who knows what you are going to get each time. I came here because the local game store mentioned looking at the B5 ship lines.

Then I highly reccomend Brigade Miniatures spaceship range

try this link to the AmRep fleet page

www.brigademodels.co.uk/NoFrames/SFS/SFSAmRep.html

the photos have the size of the model on the info. personally I think the AmRep are the best ones but there are plenty of others to choose from.
