Ship Deployment Question

This GroPo POG was just thinking that it's very interesting a jarhead would be playing a Squid fleet.
Does he have certain regrets about the branch he chose?

Naw, he just has a bunch of crackers left over and needs the cheese!

You're commenting on a man who owns more White Stars than were shown in the whole series!

I thought he gave a third of those to dag'karlove? Granted, he probably *still* owns more than from the entire series, but anyway ;-)...

Nope. My blood is green. I am, however, afflicted with the disease of collecting... very sad, I pick up a ship or two because they look cool. Next thing you know, more are on the ways and I have a fleet. Very, very sad. It is nice to have a choice though. Not just of fleets but of sizeable fleets. And yes, I do have a few White Stars with more coming.

I used to have it quite bad myself. Fortunately, unless I decide to play a new game I won't start an army/fleet/etc. anymore just because the models look cool. I am all too familiar with that "disease" and for the most part I seem to have gotten over it, though I do admit when I actually *do* start a fleet/army I have to have all the options and in sufficient quantity to play all variants even if I never use them. Last dregs of the illness I guess... ;-)

Cheers, Gary
