What source book beyond the main book will provide more detailed information on how to create my own custom space ships?

Just to add other books do have some ship stuff scattered about as well (Scoundrel for example) but usually something along the lines of specialized equipment, only needed if you want to use something like that. High Guard is the main one, including small craft and capital ships. Also useful with the 100 - 2,000 ton range as well, more options for these types of ships, a few new weapons, technology modifiers, ect.

To give you an idea of what has been designed before, Traders and Gunboats might also be useful. It doesn't have any design rules, but it gives lots of examples that help you figure out how to fit things together.
