SFoS Damage Table

in SFoS, when do you roll on the Damage table? If i am firing at a ship, and declare that 3 weapons are going to shoot it, and it goes to negative damage after the 2nd weapon, do i roll on the damage table then, or after the 3rd weapons fire? Do i have to fire with the 3rd weapon, so as to try to NOT have it go "pop"?

As a side question, if a ship is "adrift" after the Damage Table, can it be shot at again, to try and make it go "pop" at a later time? (ala, a floating bomb)

You must fire all weapons that you declared.
