Secrets of Tragic Europe, Elric Companion, Etc.

Just wanted to give a little feedback on "Secrets of tragic Europe." An absolutely outstanding campaign. Nice work! Any chance we'll see something similar ( in terms of a lengthy campaign book) for Elric of Melnibone?

The Elric of Melnibone Companion was filled with excellent details that help flesh out the main rule book. Any possibility that Mongoose might provide a color map for sale one of these days? The new map including all the eastern kingdoms was a complete treat.

One question regarding errata- the NPCs listed with Melnibonean armor in the companion have 6AP to all areas and only -6% to DEX based skills. The main rulebook states 7 AP and -14%. I'm assuming the main rulebook is correct but would like to be sure.

Magic of the Young Kingdoms was another top notched product. I was surprised and pleased to see the reintroduction of some old concepts handled in a completely different way ( demon bound items, demon binding), I felt it fits nicely with the saga and allows GMs a few more game options.

Loz, if you're reading this post, any chance you'll treat us to new Runes in Signs and Portents?

I think that is almost certain. . .

Yes, the main rules are correct. Not sure how that anomaly crept under my radar....

Its always a possibilty, but, I have to admit, not a priority. The runes in MotYK should cover most eventualities with rune combinations providing far, far more. I've little interest in creating new runes just for the sake of it - although creating new ones to emulate specific magical feats in the saga would be a reasonable enough spur.

Many thanks for the feedback - and yes, there will more than likely be a mega Elric campaign next year. I'm working up ideas for it now (and some will be tested through at Tentacles and Continuum this summer).

I am glad that at last someone has actually seen Secrets of Tragic Europe. I was beginning to think that it was a figment of my imagination. Apparently it has been released, but three weeks later it still has not hit the shops in the UK(at least not those that I frequent or mail order from.). :(
When will this book be in the hands of UK retailers?
Is there any chance that someone at Mongoose is going to give a straight answer? :?:

Just had a look on esdeviums site and there's no Secrets of Tragic Europe listed for next week.

Hopefully the week after.

Still no sign of the book with Leisuregames either(or the preview) Swampy and Herve. Whats happened Mongoose, lost the entire print run in transit have we? :(

I think I am starting to understand how those who are waiting for Cthulhutech Dark Passions feel. If I remember correctly it was last summer that Granbretan came out and SoTE was first mentioned at that stage.
I am starting to get a little bit peeved with the constant fobbing off. If it is not going to be available in the UK for some time, please be up front about it. :(

I wouldn't hold my breathe Swampy. I think that there is only one of two possible explanations.
1) Mongoose actually have no idea as to where the SoTE print run is, let alone when we will get it in UK/Europe. :(
2) SoTE was a limited run of two copies, released in the USA and recieved by Sadric 86th and Tal. Thus the first print has sold out and we have to wait until 2011 for the next run.

Come on Mongoose, what is going on with SoTE? Fess up time Matt and co.

Hi guys,

Evil Granbretan spies have obviously sabotaged things for the UK shipment :) The rest of Europe received their goodies fine, and we are currently working with Esdevium to see what has happened.
