Scouts and Reducing Stealth

OK, Just a quick Question to verify.

The stealth ability allows you to reduce the stealth score of an enemy ship by 1 if a CQ8 is rolled.

My Question is, can a ship' sstealth be reduced multiple times in this fashion... aka is it cumulative with multiple ships doing this in the same turn?

nope. any number of scout rolls will only reduce a ship by 1 stealth.
however if you scout a ship, see it with another ship and get within 8" then all these are cumulative for the max -3 to stealth (unless shadows/vorlons) seeing a sharlin on 2+.

There is a reason to reduce the stealth of the same ship multiple times - if your scout is killed you don't lose the reduction.
