Scale Pictures Request

I'm considering buying some models, initially just to try my hand at painting them and maybe eventually having enough to field them in a game. But I have yet to be able to find any good pictures to define the scale of these ships so I know what I'm buying into. I know that the FA scale is supposed to be small compared to the full scale mongoose models and that Arma ships are ... I'll go with the word "big". For those of you out there with fleets and cameras, can you take some pictures of your ships to specifically show the scale of them and post them?

Frightening, but true. Since my local shop doesn't carry any I'm trying to find out if the models are 5cm or 2m or what they really are inbetween.

the hexmap I used as a background is the standard BattleTech type, I can't remember how big the hexes are, but it's no more than an inch across.
