Just got my preorder, and boy these are HARD. Not in their stats particularly, but their special rules. I'm loving the redone Skinnie ambush rules, the +2 to armour in Cover rules, and the Stealthy "you can't see me if I don't shoot" rules.
I had read that about pre-orders but I assumed it was the same as pre-ordering on the website. Not being there at Salute I did not realise that the pre-orders were then going to be dispatched ASAP.
Post some piccies!!!!!!!! I know the SAS are hard to spot and have some great cover rules, but you could just place em on an open table and snap em quickly for us
The owner of my FLGS has said that wave 3 will be available at GAMA and that he would pick as much as he can. So, I may have some wave 3 goodness in my hands next week.
Yes, I saw their card (Finnish version) some time ago and it's already bugging me that I didn't stick to EFTF that I first decided to buy but instead went for the Marines. Sigh! Recon won't even get snipers at wave 3 although I understood so from somewhere
SAS are why i opted for EFTF over USMC, well that and the Shadows are ugly to my eye, and I wanted an all brit force to tie into the A:2089 storyline, but other than that
Commander of my first SAS unit will be Captain Peter "Bodie" Skellen.
SAS and me being European were reasons why I first decided to go EFTF way. But then I decided that USMC was more to my way of playing the game. Well, let's see how it goes as I am supposed to have a game next week, again in Dracostania. Someone has to keep those pesky Chinese in line
my favourite modles to use are the brits, my fave force il use in tourney will be yanks, my fave force for collecting are pla, and the best lookin force on the table is the MEA.
for this reason i had to fit my own brake pads and disks tonight taking cost down from over £200 to £25, just so i can feed my gaming habbit !
