Did the Haltona-class Frigate get Targets 2 in 2e? (don't have my fleet books at work)

the highlight for me is the performance of the Laune which opens up with its Graviton Beam against Rob’s Hyperion, scoring a Vitals critical and wiping out the entire crew with one shot! There’s nothing like double damage on a serious critical to take ships out of the game. Rob was shocked to say the least, and I paused my glee long enough to destroy a Chronos with the
same ship.

*sigh* .. one day I'll play this game right. Being the only person who does around here doesn't help :)

seriously man, explain what you mean, or what you thought you meant, and we'll be more than happy to help? the haltona's beam is Double damage, 5 dice, but is slow loading.

I think he thought that without the Targets trait, your ship could only shoot at one target per turn. Which as we all know is wrong but a fairly easy miskake to make if you've played games where that is the case ;)

ahh yes, should have read it properly, my bad. Mr Bostich, all your ships may shoot as many targets as they have weapon systems in range, and may even split dice from one weapon system between ships.

You can even split the dice.. (minus beams) Thanks guys.. now if only there was a hammer-banging-into-head emoticon :)

That makes much more sense anyway.

i.e. 20" Fwd 10AD (no traits), You can think of the 10AD as a pool of single dice that you can assign to any ship within 20" of your ship and in the forward arc. So up to ten ships *could* be targeted. You can think of this as buckshot.

20" Fwd 10AD, Beam; Here you can still individually assign the ten dice BUT you have to make sure that all the targets are within a limited area(what is it, 4 inches of each other?) Think of it as sweeping a laser pointer over a small area.

2228. It was corrected in the FAQ and this forum. Wonder if that's why there's a shortage of Pikatos fighters (unless LBH is starting a Brakiri fleet :) )
